instructor Mark Sherby received national recognition from Microsoft's CEO Steve
Balmer in April 2002 (shown at right). Mark was chosen in a competition among
more than 1,100 U.S. community, junior and technical colleges to receive
Microsoft and the AACC's David R. Pierce Faculty Technology award. This
prestigious national award was provided for Mark's "teaching excellence through
technology".
Mark Sherby's reputation is based on his ability to explain difficult technical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
